Valuations of Projects, Financial Management and Projections

Many startups have exciting business ideas and projects which promise great outcomes to managers, founders or investors. These projects can often be difficult to assess and may fail due to lack of proper financial management and planning.  It is therefore crucial for DIHs and other ecosystems support actors to be acquainted with the basics of project evaluations and financial  management in order to  more effectively support the startups in their ecosystems to grow into viable businesses. However, our research among DIHs leaders found that many of them lack specific knowledge and skills around project evaluation and financial management.
