#HerFutureAfrica: Empowering Women Through Tech Innovation
#HerFutureAfrica is an initiative aimed at empowering young African women with essential skills, mentorship and support to build tech-enabled businesses that address the needs of women and girls.
The #HerFutureAfrica program was established by ATBN in partnership with Women in Tech Africa, a leading network of female tech entrepreneurs across Africa. A pilot programme was launched in Ghana in 2017 and implemented until 2018.
Coalition for Digital Equality (CODE): Building a More Equal and Prosperous African Digital Future
The Coalition for Digital Equality (CODE) is a network designed to connect local and global stakeholders to address the digital gender divide and promote sustainable economic growth across Africa. Operating initially in Uganda and Ghana, CODE links African innovation hubs, digital skills initiatives, small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), impact investors, and policymakers with UK academic and industry partners.
AfriConEU: Building the first transcontinental networking academy for African & European digital innovation hubs
The AfriConEU was an ambitious initiative which brought together African and European Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) in a vibrant network of collaboration and knowledge exchange, fueled by a vision of building a joint EU and Africa digital innovation ecosystem.
